Rachel C. Reading Homework for Monday
My favorite poem was called "State Capitals". It was about a kid who had to write the state capitals down for homework. Instead he wrote down the states. I liked this poem because it was funny and I can relate to it. I think it is funny because at the end, instead of getting a capital A, he got a capital F on his paper. "State Capitals" was my favorite poem.

In the poem "The Field-mouse", the author, Cecil Frances Alexander, is telling about a little field mouse moving to it's home. In the first stanza, it is describing the mouse. The first and third lines rhyme and the second and fourth lines rhme. Then, the last two lines in the staza rhyme. This poem is telling about a little field mouse.
